Family Weekend at Crooked Lake

The entire family decided to vacation at Pete's friend Denis' family cottage. What a blast! We had beautiful weather, but forgot the sunscreen on the first day. Ah well, it was worth it.

The Big 30!!!

I turned 30 on Saturday, July 5th. No, I don't feel any older, but from what I've heard, 30 is a good year. So we'll see what happens. I don't mind getting older, there's no way to stop it and nobody has a choice but to increase in age, right! It was a fun, relaxing weekend. Went out to dinner and had a fire in the back yard with family and friends. It was really a great weekend with wonderful weather.

Here Comes Birthday Number 30!!!

Ok, so I'm always really excited about my birthday. This year, I'm even more super excited. We're not doing anything crazy for my 30th. Michael is taking me out to dinner and our parents are meeting for the first time. It's about time!!! Anyway, I'm really excited for them to meet. It will be special. Then we're getting together at my house for whoever wants to for a fire and snacks.....and drinks perhaps?!?

Looks like we're going to have another neice or nephew! Sophia told us the big news all by herself! We're all excited and are waiting for the new addition, but have quite a while to wait!
